St. Luke's Church, Kotagiri was built in the year 1923. The foundation stone for this church was laid on the 23rd of May, by the Governor of Madras, His Excellency Lord Willingdon in the presence of Lord Bishop of Madras, the Rev. Canon H.H. Flynn. The Church was dedicated for divine Worship Services on St. Luke's Day (18th of October) in 1927. The platinum Jubilee of St. Luke’s Church was celebrated on 12.01.2003.
